WR Tre Harris, LAC (1 Viewer)

Matt Miller
Ole Miss WR Tre Harris is my favorite Round 2 wideout in a really good class of them.

Size + speed + fluid route-running. He'll have to expand his route tree in the pros but the athletic traits are there. I see him a lot like Rashee Rice--he'll have an immediate role on slants/screens/digs

Tre Harris' games are full of free space and hinge routes

so here are three targets vs Kentucky that showed something slightly different

here's some 2022 Tre Harris while he was at Louisiana Tech

in a non-Ole Miss offense

I know he ran a 4.54 - but against ULM or LSU, when he's up to speed he has a real second gear to pull away from everyone

Seems like a terrific compliment to McConkey. With the new additions of Najee, Hampton, and Harris, Chargers offense could be really, really good. Not to mention Quentin Johnston could take a step forward. Should be a good run game and lots of weapons at Herbert’s disposal. Now they just need to trade for Mark Andrews.

This is QJ last yr IMO, he showed improvement last yr and this is yr 3

I'm expecting Harris to be the #4 WR as a rookie. Let's not forget they brought Mike Williams back, and he'll be healthier and has a multiple season rapport with Herbert.

With their cap space and needs, I hope the trade for a Guard and/or D lineman.

I really liked him in the pre-draft process but it's looking like Ladd McConkey is the guy in LAC. Probably a wash his rookie season, but from what I've seen on tape he is talented enough to play in this league.

As an owner of Herbert and McConkey I will gladly draft him…. I loved his profile before the draft and even more now.

Charger homer here - we are starving for a dominant X after being burnt spending high draft capital on Mike Williams and QJohnson. Admittedly biased as a Herbert fan, but if Harris is as advertised he’s getting to play with an elite, top 5 in the world QB arm and a young dominant Z receiver in McConkey. Defenses will have to pick their poison, and I doubt they’ll roll safeties to Harris early in the year with the attention McConkey gets and the Harris/Hampton combo in the backfield.

All the ingredients are there for Harris to perform from day 1 IMO.

Agreed, I think the spot is beautiful.
