Colt Brennan in major car accident (1 Viewer)

Wow, what does this say. Mike Williams and his DUI is more important than a kid possibly losing his life. Yes, I know it's fantasy football but you guys could have a little bit of a heart.

UPDATE (6:39 p.m.): The Honolulu Star Advertiser has some good info regarding the accident.

The incident occured at 2:30 p.m. ET, and McCoy might have suffered head injuries. He was taken to the hospital with face lacerations. He was a passenger in the car, not driving it.
Such good info that they can't even get the kid's last name right. I hope he is OK. I loved watching him sling it to Davone Bess when they were both at Hawaii.

What exactly is your complaint? And by the way, how many tears did you shed today for the dead from cholera in Haiti?

Bad news, the doctor told him he would never play in the NFL again.

The good news is his injuries are not serious.

Former Raiders and Redskins quarterback Colt Brennan was hospitalized and declared to be in serious condition following an apparent head-on automobile accident this afternoon.Brennan’s agent, Ryan Tollner, has released a statement updating his client’s health at the present time.“We have been informed that Colt was injured as a passenger in a car accident this morning on The Big Island of Hawaii,” reads the statement. ”He was taken to Kona Community Hospital and has since been transported to Honolulu for further medical attention. We do not know the severity of his injuries at this point, but that his condition is serious.“We are not aware of the status of anyone else involved in the accident but our thoughts and prayers are with them. No details of the accident have been revealed to us. Colt’s family asks that the public is respectful of the hospitals and medical staffs focused on treating the individuals involved in this accident.”

Thoughts and prayers, Colt.

As a Redskin fan, I never thought he was truly a NFL caliber QB the way many others did. But I will always remember how classy he was coming on DC sportstalk radio the day after being cut.

Here's to a full recovery regardless of whether he ever plays in the NFL again.
