**Colts at Jaguars** (-3, 45.5) 1:00 (1 Viewer)

Surprised the Jags are favored, looks like ARich is Doubtful for Sunday
Is Flacco an improvement for this offense?
Trey Sermon is still in the NFL? Thought Kyle Shananhan ran him out of the league

Another tropical storm brewing, could make landfall early next week but the weather will already be bad on Sunday? What's the rain and wind situation looking like for game time?

Forecast per weather.gov on Sunday is "Showers likely before 11am, then showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm between 11am and 2pm, then a chance of showers and thunderstorms after 2pm. Cloudy, with a high near 78. Northeast wind 7 to 10 mph, with gusts as high as 16 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible."

So it will probably be sunny.

If there was ever a place for a get right game, this is it for the Jags. They can’t be as bad as they’ve looked, right? They’re playing a Colts team missing a lot of key pieces on both sides of the ball. And this is a division rival that they have dominated in recent years; the Colts haven’t won in Duval since 2014.

But anyone who’s actually watched football this year knows the Jags shouldn’t be favored over anyone.

In the Trevor Lawrence/ Doug Pederson era, the Jags are 3-7 ATS and 4-6 straight up as home favorites.

And last year, Joe Flacco lit up the Jags in his second start after being pulled off the street by the Browns.

So the smart play is IND +3, but I’ve vowed to go Costanza this week, so give me the Jags—in their throwback unis—laying the points.

4 hours ago, precipitation probability was 55%, now 70%. Dew point at 72 while gametime temperature is 79.

This one could break out into a fantasy game of the week
Or it could be 13-10
I'll channel the late great Yogi Berra
Who once said.."The more a team loses, the more likely they are to win"

Jags- 30
Colts- 23

How are we viewing Sermon today? I've seen odds at 75yds and a TD. Just possible or probable?
I think he's a decent flex play. I think Goodson will get some play too. If the weather is as bad as some of you have reported, I haven't checked, both teams may try to run it more.

"Humid; brief a.m. showers, then a drenching t-storm; preparations for hurricane impacts should be made now; deteriorating conditions expected early to midweek"

That's what the game time accuweather says. 77 degrees ATM and only 7mph winds. Haven't heard when the "drenching" thunderstorm is expected to hit. The "gametime" forecast includes stuff for next week which seems weird. But then it is a hurricane and they're saying look out.

Ok, maybe it holds out. We're only talking about a few hours here.

This was updated 8 minutes ago from weather.com

Periods of rain. Rain may be heavy late. High 77F. Winds ENE at 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 100%. 1 to 2 inches of rain expected.

Really doesn't look like high winds.

Looks like a slop humid fest. Have to think Jags find a way to win in a must win game. Colts missing JT hurts but Flacco has veteran swagger which will keep this game close. I think TEttiene takes advantage of good Jag field position and has a nice fame. So,

Jags - 21
Colts -17

Smart play by the special teams player blocking. Just put your hands up on the air and don't go near the guy when you're behind him.

Kirk not even making an appearance today
That's kind of sad after the last couple weeks giving some folks a little hope

-Looks like we just saw Kirk, little late but we'll take it
