How long since they did that? Obrien is terrible.Time to rebuild.... again. Let's start with a new GM, then coach
Yes and it's not closeColts look abysmal in weeks 1 and 2 and sweep the division in weeks 3-5. Worst division in football?
I agree with this assessment. The only question is whether the refs were incompetent or if they were just in the tank for the Colts. If the latter, I guess the league feels that Luck is a marketable superstar and they want to make sure that he's in the playoffs at the end of the year. Of course, in that division, shouldn't be a problem.Though, I think the Patriots game is likely to get ugly.Is it just me, or did it feel like the Texans could have won this game if the penalty calls had been balanced?
Meh...I tend to shy away from conspiracy theories, but I do believe that even the best refs can be slightly biased going in by their perception of the quality of the teams they're officiating. I sincerely and strongly doubt there was anything intentional going on, but the Colts certainly enjoyed the benefit of the doubt on most of the close calls and several flat out bad calls.I agree with this assessment. You are probably right..I've got no evidence that it is intentional so it would be reckless to seriously make that claim.. But either way, it sucks for teams that are bad and trying to get better. I do think in some cases, refs come in thinking one team is better and that creates a bit of a self-fulfilling prophesy regarding how the game is called. I notice it in other games as well.Meh...I tend to shy away from conspiracy theories, but I do believe that even the best refs can be slightly biased going in by their perception of the quality of the teams they're officiating. The flat out bad calls tend to balance out over the course of a season, but not necessarily in a single game. Those close calls though....good teams get more of them their way
I would go with Hoyer for now. But the most important thing is to stop flip flopping for a little while. Let someone settle in, even if they make mistakes.I have no pony in this race but the officiating tonight was atrocious. So one sided and so many ticky tack calls against the Texans while the same or worse plays weren't flagged for the Colts. Shame because that would have been a really close game if it was called evenly. Hasselback has looked great and Hopkins is a superstar but it seems tainted after all of the questionable calls tonight. Oh well, guess this is what the NFL is becoming.
Does everyone think Hoyer gets the nod next week now? He did have the one bonehead play but besides that had a pretty good game.
Shame that Tom Savage is on IR and can't get a chance to make his case.I would go with Hoyer for now. But the most important thing is to stop flip flopping for a little while. I suppose the Texans' Quarterback of the Future is not on the current roster...
I have been in O'Brien's corner but the last two weeks are making me change my mind quickly. There was barely anything redeeming about those last two performances, and it's littered with stupid play and lack of discipline.Honest question Texan fans:
After this debacle of a total coaching failure (and what looks to be consistent with this season) how are you guys not calling for Bill O's head? That was a clustereff of a coaching job from offense, special teams and Defense. Not just little blunders, some major colossal WTF are you doing moments.
Colts are decent (5-5 outside of division last 2 years), rest of the division is a dumpster fire. Colts go 6-0 in division every year. I think Jacksonville is 1-2 years from being an 8 win team and maybe dropping the Colts to 5-1 in division in the future.Yes and it's not closeColts look abysmal in weeks 1 and 2 and sweep the division in weeks 3-5. problem is that there are no top qb's in this draftBetter off losing as many games as possible. Need atop QB worse than any team in the league
gotta love this organization we completely suck the years there are no good quarterbacks and we are just mediocre enough in the years that there areproblem is that there are no top qb's in this draftBetter off losing as many games as possible. Need atop QB worse than any team in the league
I am sure one will get drafted at the top but a lot of folks say that kid from PSU is good and the 2 games I have watched him he looks abysmal. Incredible inaccurate and immobile.gotta love this organization we completely suck the years there are no good quarterbacks and we are just mediocre enough in the years that there areproblem is that there are no top qb's in this draftBetter off losing as many games as possible.
