Comcast truck causing a road hazard (1 Viewer)

Obviously some of those folks were driving WAY too fast for those conditions.  One car sliding off the road, more likely to just be that poor driver's fault.  After multiple vehicles are crashing those Comcast guys are complete morons for not doing something to help make this situation safer.  They could have gotten killed.  Common sense has to play into situations sometimes...
We are talking about a cable provider.

When do they ever make sense?

The guy in the Dodge Ram (NOT the old truck flying like a bat out of ####) did one heck of a job sliding his car off the road in between two ditched cars without hitting either of them.  Credit where credit is due...that was some slick driving.  (pun intended)
That was the first thing my son pointed out - I told him to learn from that because one day it could save your or someone else's life.

:lmao:

"maybe some more cones"

the ace reporter puts his own out and there was still accidents

funny the school school buses had zero problems

Getting scoleded by Mr. Garrison repeatedly would have made me at least put out a couple more cones...
Why would he give the guy the satisfaction?

he put out the minimum. Who cares if anyone gets hurt as long as he didn't cave to a regular person.

Those weren't cones they were orange child cutout.

Which makes me wonder why the hell that guy had those. And where was he keeping them? He may live nearby and had them in his garage which is weird or he had them in his car which is even weirder

These 2 guys were in a no win situation. Stop the job and their superiors are on their back , continue and they have the ham & egger with the phone harassing them . Then if Comcast pulls them some other yokel calls and #####es about their service not working and they should be out in the conditions working.

Maybe he's a pedo

Disagree. Once the second truck arrived, the first truck could have easily parked at the top of the hill and walked the 100 yards back to the work area. Would have taken 5 minutes, tops. The presence of the truck at the top of the hill would have slowed down 99% of drivers.

Disagree totally

I'm not visiting Reddit today so I can read today's outrage of the day when it gets posted here tomorrow
Congratulations for being king of the internet. I'm sure your mom kisses your crown every morning when she brings your Eggo waffles down to the basement.

Why did the Comcast guys have to be so stubborn?  Why didn't the guy shooting the video call the police?  Seems that many things could have been done to prevent some of these accidents.  This is like someone coming in and throwing a bucket of gas on a fire.   So much fail.

That last pickup truck was not a good example to use as Comcast screwing up.   That dude would have smashed into any car there making a left or what have you.

There's a pop up bubble right at the beginning of the video that says the cops were called after the 1st slide off but they didn't arrive until 30-40 minutes later.

Cresting a blind hill at 40+mph in ice and snow sounds like a pretty reckless thing to do. The cars going much slower did not seem to have any problems.

Well, you need to speed up going over the hill in icy conditions in case you don't make it you don't slide backwards
