Commish Issue - MFL.com (1 Viewer)

First of all thanks for any help that might be given.

In my league there is an owner who has been having problems submitting waivers from his home PC. He can drop players, submit lineups, etc, but for some reason he cannot "Add" players.

Yesterday during our waiver window a DB was dropped at 07:15PM. He dropped Ryan Grant at 07:18 and says he tried to pick up Landry. Landry was acquired by another team at 0719pm(interdivision rival). He sent me an email stating his problem at 07:21PM.

I told him this AM that he is out of luck and that the rest of the league doesnt go on hold because he has a computer problem at home. His other PCs work fine. I said I would help him if I got his email requesting that I add Landry before he was picked up by another team.

I am confident that I handled it properly but wanted to bounce it off a few of you.

Also - THE MAIN QUESTION - does anyone know what might be happening and why he cant click the add player button? It clicks, but it doesnt do anything.

maybe he needs to drop a player before he can add one. There's also a button that says "submit first come first serve waivers" which takes you to the add/drop page. If you have a league with a maximum number of roster spots it won't allow you to add a player and go over that number, you must perform a "submit waiver" where you add/drop at the same time. Just a possibility of why he couldn't add a player.

Thanks for the reply. But the issue is more complex than that. The problem is when he clicks the add player button, the button does not attempt to perform an action. This only happens on his PC so it is probably a computer problem.

It would be like typing your post up and then clicking Reply and the button pushes down but nothing happens.

It only happens on one PC? Can he do adds on another PC? If not, the only thing I can think of is making sure Perform waivers/free agent moves is checked in For Commissioner>Setup>Franchise Abilities.

Thanks again - yes, he can do it from his work PC, his brothers PC, and my PC, but just not his home PC. I told him to download the lastest version of INternet explorer or firefox and delete his temp internet files.

Hope that works?

Yeah, if it's just that PC trying a different/updated browser might be the way to go. Opera is another browser worth trying.

Is he using Firefox? Make sure he enables javascript to work on that page. Ive seen that on a ton of pages using FF. So much so that I just turned off Noscript.
