Who's my (bias, keeper-league-owning) steal of the draft prospect for 2007?

Matt Leinart

It was Palmer's first year as a starter but second year in the league. He was better prepared to capitalize on his play time. I remember he performed extremely well to close out the year and it was against some of the best defenses.

I like Leinart's prospects, but how did he perform at the end of the season compared to the beginning. How was his progression?

Palmer has a stronger arm and a MUCH better OL . . .next . . .

 = Time to throw, and an arm to take advantage. Palmer is simply a better QB. I do like Leinart, he'll be a winner in the NFL (assuming AZ can pull it around), but he's not Palmer, despite the school connection.

Look at the end of Palmer's first season, and compare it to the end of Leinart's. Then get back to me.

Not only did Palmer have a better O line, he had a better running game to take off some of the heat. I call the starting WR corps a push. Bottom line, no MVP type of season for Leinert, but he will still be a steal in many leagues.

what about the fact that Whisenhunt wants to run the ball more . . .
