Conspiracy Theorists UNITE! Refs just refuse to call penalties on the Chiefs (4 Viewers)

I don't think there is any conspiracy, but I do believe the refs are preprogramed every year to give certain teams the benefit of the doubt. Kind of like the Michael Jordon treatment.
so there is no conspiracy theory....but a "preprogrammed" conspiracy theory that the "refs" are somehow brainwashed into.....

Jordan got the **** beat out of him for years.....whatever "Jordan rules" you think happened back then are magnified 1000X with todays superstars.....

I don't pretend to know what's in refs head, but I do think they favor certain teams and in today's world, that includes the Chiefs. I don't think they set out to cheat, but I do think teams like the Chiefs gets the benefit of the doubt. That's all I was saying. If you disagree that is fine. I don't need people to agree with me.

I could see the argument that refs might be more protective of a star like Mahomes than say a backup QB for the Browns but I seriously doubt they purposely turn a blind eye to a holding call by a KC lineman
I agree in principle, but that lineman that false starts on nearly every passing play is glaring. I believe someone said he is one of the most penalized lineman, but choose to let him get away with it a lot. Thoughts?

Taylor was the most penalized player in the league last year (17) (deservedly so) ....next closest player had (12).....(8) of his (17) were for false starts....Taylor is tied for third most FS in the league this year and 5th in overall penalties.....so it's not like he isn't garnering any attention from the refs...

he defiantly deserves the distinction and I agree he could probably be penalized more....there are a few other tackles across the league that seem to be getting a little more of a jump then they should....it probably isn't called very consistently and needs to be looked at.....where they line up also seems to be very inconsistent once again after it seemed they tried to crack down on it early in the year...

Good breakdown here:

Should be called more for illegal formation

Land Clark is officiating the Chiefs-Bills game, KC is UNDEFEATED when he is refereeing.

Clark’s crew: 1st for illegal formations, 2nd for false starts.

Buffalo the 2nd most false starts; KC has the least pre-snap penalties.

Thats what i thought the first dozen times it happened.

As for the false starts on EVERY passing play, I suppose the thought is keep doing it, because they can’t call it on every play. Kind of weird in a way.

Kind of like how there’s probably a hold every play
At least one is more obvious.

The false start is tough to catch because a lot of times the tackle just times it perfectly and it’s hard to watch the lineman and the ball simultaneously

Doesn’t look like he’s timing it perfectly, because it it is obvious literally on every passing play.

It's not hard to watch the lineman and ball simultaneously when you are literally standing at the end of the line of scrimmage looking at them both.

ETA: Now imagine is was the DE moving like that every play. You think they would see/call it?

How in the hell did they miss that face mask penalty on the Chiefs? He almost turned his head like Regan from the Exorcist.
