Contest: QB-RB-RB-WR-WR-TE line up for the playoffs (1 Viewer)

Pick any QB, 2 RBs, 2 WRs, and TE you like for the playoffs. You get points just like you would in the regular season. 1 pt per 20 pass/10rush/10rec, 6 pts all TD. When your player's team is eliminated then obviously that player is done for the playoffs. Lifetime supply of wind dip and air pudding for the winner and bragging rights. Gotta have a line up in before Sat at Noon.

So while it might seem awesome to have Calvin Johnson and Arian Foster in your line up, they might only be around for 1 game so choose wisely.

Post'em up.

My playoff league last year had an elimination after round 1 so you had to draft guys that played the first week. You couldn't load up on #1 and #2 seeded teams.

This year I think I'm going with Brees as my QB for the whole thing. I am going to put my eggs in the Saints basket. If they go to the SB then I'm money. If they lose to the Packers or the 49ers then I lose.

If they make it to the NFC Champ you are money because thats 3 full games. You might be on to something here.

Brees

Rice

Redmond

Colsten

Meachum

Graham

Obviously think NO to the Bowl. Didn't pick Sproles because 2 games of Rice or Redmond in this format could beat his four game production. One of those two RBs to the Super Bowl to get my three games anyway.

Eli

Bradshaw

C. Benson

Nicks

A. J. Green

Graham

swinging for the fences with Benson..last time he played Houston he rushed for 91 yards.will happen again this weekend.then they play NE, correct? if that happens, watch for Benson to rush for 125+ in that game..

AJ Green should do well this weekend, and if they win, he will torch the Pats.

Cruz will garner so much attention that Nicks will have a huge game.

Bradshaw will get solid numbers this week, and if they win, terrific numbers next week as they face GB - keep Rodgers off the field by running the football..

Graham will get his this weekend and next ( although the Saints lose next weekend)

You're stuck for the entire playoffs with whoever you select.

Going out on some limbs here.............

QB - Eli Manning

RB - A. Bradshaw

RB - Ray Rice

WR - V. Cruz

WR - H. Nicks

TE - Dickson

Giants and Ravens all the way. Note that these teams are NOT the teams that I selected in my bracket, nor are they the teams that I went with in the FBG Playoff Contest, but took a shot with them here in your thread.

Enjoy the playoffs everyone!

QB Brees

RB Sproles

RB Rice

WR Welker

WR Jennings

TE Finley

Figure GB or NO will represent the NFC in the Superbowl so I have two players from both of those teams.... and either NE or Balt will represent the AFC so I am left to grab 1 player from each of those teams... so by default the Superbowl will feature Detroit against Pittsburgh :loco:

QB - Drew Brees

RB - Arian Foster

RB - Green-Ellis

WR - Roddy White

WR - Andre Johnson

TE - Jimmy Graham

Basically my actual FF team. How did I not win again?

The two leagues I'm in have done this for years, with a couple differences. We also pick a K and a DST, best record gets first pick, and each owner gets to replace an eliminated player after the Wildcard round and again after the Divisional round.

So I will just post the teams I draft.

#1: 6 teams in post season, I was top seed.

QB Brees

RB Gore

RB Grant

TE Graham

WR C Johnson

WR Jennings

K* Crosby

D* Saints

#2: 8 teams, I am 2 seed, drafting in a few hours.

QB: Brees

RB: P Thomas

RB: Jacobs

TE: Pettigrew

WR: A Johnson

WR: Colston

K*: Kasay

D*: Saints

ETA: Didn't plan to go all-in on the Saints, it just worked out that way. Hoping for Packers - Saints NFCCG.

Pack wins, I'm

Saints win, I'm :moneybag:

*yes, I realize K & D weren't part of the OP, just including them for the hell of it. :)
