If Dillon is done being a primary back, he will have to take less money no matter where he plays. If he has to take less money anyway, I don't see why he wouldn't stick around in N.E., especially if the Pats are winning with a Dillon/Maroney combo at RB. Dillon's stats are on par with Maroney's with Dillon generally getting yards in tougher (short yardage) situations.Dillon is signed for 3 more seasons at $2.5 million per season. IIRC, he's restructured his contract twice since coming to the Pats, so I am not sure what the cap implications would be if he were released.
