Cornerbacks and the Draft Dominator (1 Viewer)

Anybody have any good tips for IDP leagues where you have to have both corners and safeties as far as using the Draft Dominator. I have used it for a few years and just had to wing it a bit on corners since the program doesn't distinguish between corners and safeties. I try to snag a top corner (Barber, Tillman, etc.) since the drop-off is usually pretty big between the top guys and the rest. They are also very hard to predict though because our league counts INTs as 6 points and sacks as 5 so if a guy has a big year with either, he moves up very high. I usually try to focus on corners who get a lot of tackles and hope they have a big year on INTs too. Sorry to ramble.....any thoughts/ideas of how you get around the fact that the draft dominator doesn't distinguish between the DBs would be appreciated. Thanks!!

I'll ask Bruce about increasing the options for specialized (DT and CB) leagues for next season.I usually keep an eye on what the DD spits out, but have a list of players at both positions that I consider to be above replacement level to target with a rough idea of where their ADP should be. Then, just like any other position, I'll adjust on the fly. Corners and defensive tackles are difficult for those aren't on the ball to draft well so there's often very nice value late in the draft if you choose not to go after the Rod Colemans and Charles Tillmans.

This has big the biggest "to-do" for the IDP side since the birth of the Draft Dominator. Last time I talked to Bruce it sounded like it was definitely in the works, so we should be good for the 2007 season.
