I've seen offseason fluff, but I just can't see this happening.
Drew Carter is fast and could be an emerging talent; but, I just don't see him beating out Keyshawn. Not this year.
While Keyshawn is not the Key of old, he still blocks very well and makes a good possession receiver. Each of these atrributes is a good compliment to Smith and the running game.
While I see Carter running out of the slot and the use of 3 wide receiver sets more often, I just don't see him as a starter this year - or next.
Plus, I am a big believer in the philosophy of "follow the contract" . . and Keyshawn has the bigger one. For those reasons, I really do not give Carter much thought in redraft or small keeper leagues - possibly a late rounder in dynasty.
Any thoughts?
