Could D. Carter start in front of Keyshawn (1 Viewer)

I've seen offseason fluff, but I just can't see this happening.

Drew Carter is fast and could be an emerging talent; but, I just don't see him beating out Keyshawn. Not this year.

While Keyshawn is not the Key of old, he still blocks very well and makes a good possession receiver. Each of these atrributes is a good compliment to Smith and the running game.

While I see Carter running out of the slot and the use of 3 wide receiver sets more often, I just don't see him as a starter this year - or next.

Plus, I am a big believer in the philosophy of "follow the contract" . . and Keyshawn has the bigger one. For those reasons, I really do not give Carter much thought in redraft or small keeper leagues - possibly a late rounder in dynasty.

Any thoughts?

It would be EXCITING to see S.Smith and Drew Carter on the outside with Keary Colbert in the slot. Maybe DelHomme would throw it to more than 1 target.

Hope Me-Shawn doesn't put a damper to it!
