***Cowboys-Packers Game Day Thread*** (2 Viewers)

Not sure if this has been posted or not, but Favre just said on sportscenter...Right arm is pretty swollen and he has a separated left shoulder. He seemed pretty hesitant to answer any questions. I think he knows his right arm is not doing well.

If not for mistakes on Dallas's part, which I don't think will happen in their next game, Dallas would have won by 20pts or more. Can't wait for the rematch in the playoffs.
Or the fact that Favre was out for nearly 3/4 of the game. Or that their #1 CB missed the game.

Or that one of their starting DE missed the game.

Or that most of the questionable calls went your way.

Or that the Packers have some stupidass CB's and Safeties.

They SHOULD have won by 20 or more, but they didn't.....

Can't feel too confident but keep trying to talk yourself into feeling good about this one.
This is rich, s. The Cowboys were in charge the whole game except for a three minute stretch. Favre getting hurt was the best thing that happened to the Packers for tonight.
 [Norm]

Fredo, pop on, if Farve stays in this game.......it becomes a blowout........

OOOHHHHHHHHH

[/Norm}
Norm is almost unbearable in small pieces on the postgame show. I don't know how you guys listen to him every day.

What a great game plan by Wade Phillips and company. When Farve was in the game they had the perfect defense. When Rodgers came in the game his feet and mobility bought him lots of time in the pocket and he was able to pick on the defense. I guarantee that if Rodgers is starting the next time the Cowboys face him they will have a defense designed to stop him.

The offense was great in the first half but played carelessly in the second half and didnt get serious until midway through the 4th quarter. Overall a great game by the Cowboys. If the Cowboys dont get that stupid penalty on 3rd down when they stop the Packers (Ryan Grant 63 yard td next play) or if TO doesnt lateral the ball to Al Harris this game is a blowout.

And if my aunt had balls...Congrats Cowboys you won the game and are the better team but don't act like they dominated the game. The Packers had a ton of mistakes too (2 int's and 9 penalities for 100+ yards) and the Cowboys allowed a backup QB to light them up. I don't see how anyone who watched this game can conclude the Cowboys are a ton better than the Packers. They are a better team but not to the extent that some of you believe.

Doesn't matter. As long as they're one game better than the Packers.

:loco: All I see is whining. The Cowboys are better, not by a mile, but better. Not having Woodson hurt, not having KGB hurt. Newman got hurt and was hobbled for most of the game, the next time they meet, the Cowboys will have their 2nd best rec in Terry Glenn.Unless the Pack has an answer for Witten, they will see the same result. It was a pretty good game, and now I can continue to root for the Packers until January.

Just want to say: NFL Network screwed this game up royally. Gumbel and Collinsowrth has been talked about already. THe little video montages, the camera work and speed that the replays were prepared were all abysmal. Did they not have a telestrator or just not have anything intelligent to say with it -- I know its abused, but I don't think it was used at all. I don't think there was a comment on formations the entire game. A lot of the shots were way too zoomed in and the camera movement just sucked. This was a big chance to step up and NFLN Network. Honestly, an exciting game was played, but all the awful camera work and terrible commenting -- I dind't get to enjoy it.

Camera/crew/announcing -- I didn't realize how important that stuff is.

The only exception is Deion Sanders tailor and shirtmaker who deserve an enemy. Man did he look slick.

I agree but the way some Cowboys' fans are thumping their chests you would swear they've already won the NFC championship.

I'm sure the same can be said about NE some fans though there may be a team or 2 in the AFC that wouldn't buy it. Before this game I am sure some GB fans were doing the same. It doesn't matter right now though, this is only week 12.

Just watched the game this morning on Tivo

I was impressed at how Dallas moved the ball on the Packers. They did a great job of moving TO around to avoid Harris (TO was still able to get his against Harris).

Speaking of TO, sometimes he just reminds me of Roberto Duran (hands of stone).

The offensive line did a great job Romo seemed to have all day back there. I am surprised the Packers didn’t blitz him a little more (maybe it’s not their scheme or because of their injuries)

Favre looked horrible, seemed like he was trying to force everything deep. Rodgers looked pretty good.

Packers didn’t help themselves with the penalties. They also had a couple of bad calls go against them. I though Harris had an interception early in the 1st quarter and that pass interference in the 4th was horrible. Good game, fun to watch. That Dallas offensive line is very good.

Dallas has a real chance to run the table now:@DetroitPhila@Carolina@WashCombined 4 games under .500Only the Washington game scares me...
Detroit took the Boys to the cleaners last year and their record stunk. Philly with or without McNabb is scary. I actually hate these last four games.
Big Tex I understand where you are coming from dude. This is a different team then in years past. This is a special group and 95% of the time in years past this team would be the favorite to win the SB but as we all know the Pats happen to exist this season. Dallas should run the table maybe lose one to Washington in a meaningless game as the starters rest. Next season is ours for sure. This year we have a good shot in the dark.
