So my league allows me to either play my player week 17 or if the player is eligible for the playoffs.

The tricky part is picking the right matchups for example I have Stafford do I play him vs GB or do I wait and hope he plays the Cowboys or he might play Seahawks which then would be stupid if I don't play him vs GB.

I don't know how anyone can possibly give you advice on this since the playoff matchups aren't set. If a guy has a decent to good matchup in week 17, just go with it. Also just an FYI that you'll be catching some flack for posting this in the wrong forum
