Preliminary approval for millions in state tax incentives.

How is this not in violation of the separation of church and state?

Well the claim is that it is no different than funding a performing arts center. You wouldn't assume the government supported every viewpoint you might hear in a performance there so why assume the state is promoting a certain viewpoint here? I don't think I agree with that but it is the argument.

I'm an atheist and my drummer's Muslim. Can we do a live show at this "arts" center?
