Surprised not to find this on here, went back several pages. Especially with Gates on bye and people looking for TEs.

Crumpler (knee/ankle) hasn't practiced all week and is listed as doubtful for Sunday's game against the Saints, the Falcons' official site reports.

Spin: Unless he feels much better on Sunday morning, the Falcons will turn to Dwayne Blakley and rookie Martrez Milner at tight end this week. Make sure you've got the fallback option in place if Crumpler was in your plans for Week 7.

Oct 19 D. Orlando Ledbetter, of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, reports Atlanta Falcons TE Alge Crumpler (knee, ankle) was limited in practice Friday, Oct. 19. Crumpler is expected to play during Week 7.

Look at the positive side of this. If he sits out, he will essentially match his production for the rest of the season, only this time he won't be in your lineup.

Though I dare say, with lefty starting, he may have been a viable option this week.

Been disappointed in him for sure, both on and off the field. Doing a good bit of whining, IMO. My favorite thread title on the Falcons message boards: Petrino phasing out veterans? God, I hope so.
