Maybe you missed out on him. Maybe you tried to trade for him and failed. Nobody will give your opinion more weight becuse of that statement (and I've used it myself).

Except this one lies on the heads of the people doing the criticizing. It's routine for people to accuse others of hyping certain players only because they have a vested interest, which is idiotic. It's hard to blame people for wanting to forestall those sorts of annoying comments. Anyway, current most overused saying: "Arian Foster. What? It's spelled different omg!"
