Though it has been nearly six months since his knee surgery, running back Curtis Martin is limited in camp. But he has no doubts he will be as productive as ever in 2006, his 12th season in the league. "I never doubt that. I've never doubted that, and as long as I play I never will," Martin said. "I can't even imagine myself doubting that. That's not even in my personality." But the signs are there. Martin is 33 and coming off an injury, a bad combination for the 2004 rushing champ.

I read an article a month ago that said he was running stairs again. Maybe this is just precautionary?

I can't see myself drafting Martin. I can't see him getting multiple TDs in any game, I can't see him getting 10 TDs all year and I can't see his legs holding up all year. There basically is zero upside in him. At best you get stable production by having a few points every week, nothing that blows up or anything. The best that could happen if you do draft him is he stays healthy and he gets used as trade bait for the owner who is in need of a starting RB.

That being said, I bet he last so long in my draft that I can't help but take him :hophead:
