CUT DOWN DAY - 2012 (1 Viewer)

Winslow gone. Not surprised at all here.Read an article a couple weeks back where Rusell Wilson shouted something at Winslow on the field (go to that spot every time). Winslow simply ignored him. (Will try to dig it up). Guy simply has a ####ty cancerous attitude and no need to tolerate his merely mediocre play with Zach Miller & a host of other WR receiving options so they can go 3-4 wide at times.Another solid move in right direction for Carroll and company. No need to tolerate a declining loud mouth that is no longer a difference maker. Only potentially toxic to a young nucleus.

Kellen Winslow believes "99 percent" of NFL players would retire rather than play with the pain in his surgically-repaired knee.Winslow has always thought highly of himself, so it's no surprise that he believes he's more resilient than the rest of the league. Winslow's Dynasty value has long been in the tank due to the creaky knee. Battling Zach Miller for production in Seattle's run-heavy offense, his redraft value is hanging by a thread as well. Now you can make that retirement a reality Kellen.
Seahawks TE Kellen Winslow says he "had to roll" from Tampa following the hiring of Greg Schiano."(Schiano) came over there (and said), ‘Toes on the line! Toes on the line!' Blowing the whistle. You can’t laugh. You can’t joke around," Winslow said. "So I decided not to go to OTAs." Winslow also said he'd "take a bullet" for former Bucs coach Raheem Morris, and that Tampa "fired the wrong dude." Winslow should split snaps with Zach Miller in Seattle. Jun 16 - 9:52 AM
I'm sure every coach is salivating to work with an attitude like this. You sure showed them!!!

Not sure where Winslow will land. Incidentially, Jaguars claimed TE Brett Brackett off waivers from the Eagles and cut Zack Miller.

Just want a look at the new playbook, wouldn't be surprised if the Pats, Bills, all of them sign some fringe guy from the Phins to see what plays they will run and then cut the guy a week or two later.

So the only guy backing up Bradford is undrafted rookie Austin Davis??
Yes. Makes little sense.
Has that ever happened before in NFL history?
I believe the Rams had previous success doing this. Backups name was Kurt Warner.
Warner wasn't a rookie -- he had been in the NFL for a year. Also, the Rams kept 3 QBs that season.I'm looking for teams that only kept 2 QBs, with one of those QBs being an undrafted rookie.

Didn't the Pats do that with Hoyer a few years ago?

They also had Isaiah Stanback that year, but I'm not sure if he counts as a QB because he was trying to convert to WR/KR.
