Guy that had a lot of promise, but never lived up to it - totally faded away into obscurity this season.

Little bit different story with him I realize, his biggest problem is he can't stay healthy - or is there more to the story (laziness, partying, etc)?

Yes, I am an owner in a dynasty league.

there is a chance. For me, the telling issue with him is that with all of the momentum he had from the 2007 season, he could only get a 2 year, $3.5 million dollar contract. I would have thought he could get more than that, especially with the contract Jerry Porter signed in Jax.

Bryant had a 1000 yd season under his belt, so no.

Could Hackett contribute given an opportunity? Possibly, but he could also end up finally marrying one of those hot trainers

Bryant always had talent. He washed out of the league because he was a major headcase.

Hackett is just a mediocre player.

I never understood where the original Hackett love ever came from in the first place. Guy has always been just another body at the WR position.

Hackett is not mediocre. When healthy he is a very good player. That is not very often. I wouldnt mind Seattle signing him back for a year for depth.

I do know that he was always able to come back from injury and have big games his first game back. His "return to form" time was very little.

I think A. Bryant's talent level has been underrated by most for a long time. It's a shame he's been a headcase.

its hard to tell what hackett can do as he has been chronically hurt for a few years now...

when healthy, which seems like an interminably long time ago, he flashed ability at times...

i suspect he may not be a complete WR... what i recall him doing well is going up to get the ball (good hops, ability to high point the ball, athleticism, body control, hands), not as sure about the bread & butter routes... he could be a luxury WR, a nice red zone weapon, complementary/situational type, but sketchy if a team is counting on him to be a dependable go to WR...

a worse alvin harper (ouch, not a flattering comp player/situation)?

Nope. Last night, Hackett was placed on season ending IR again. This time he was injured in bed, dreaming about being the next Antonio Bryant.

Reggie Williams is trying to be next Antonio Bryant. He couldn't pick a worst time to act like an idiot.Per KFFL:

NFL | Police and courts: WR Reggie WilliamsFri, 27 Feb 2009 17:00:27 -0800The Canadian Press reports free-agent WR Reggie Williams (Jaguars) was arrested early Friday, Feb. 27, and faces DWI and marijuana possession charges. Both are misdemeanors. Officers smelled marijuana during a routine traffic stop.
