ETA - This is also the same dude who got the mega deal for Watson. I would wager there’s a little payback for that happening.

ETA - its interesting that the players association hasn't come out and trashed the guy for boxing out an agent. I guess they have to pick their fights carefully.
Seems to me they can should and run it however the **** they want.
I'll back away from anything political and simply say that the players have leverage, and that tolerating behavior where an owner can boxout an agent should be a "third rail" for union representation. The fact that it may actually be payback for the Watson fiasco only makes the need for the union to respond more pressing. Failure of the union leadership to address this point should be enough for the rank and file to pitch a fit....so I'm surprised that none of this is happening (yet?).
