Wife's sister is turning 40 and lives in DFW.

We plan on about 20 people with 5 being kids so it needs to be kid friendly.

Doesn't have to be a restaurant.  Wife would like to decorate some.

My favorite Ft. Worth spot...the legendary Joe T Garcia's  They have private party spaces indoor and outside.  

DISCLAIMER, I have not been back there since I graduated in 1991, but it's mexican food...you can't #### that up, so it should still be good!

I stand by my recommendation!     Actually, I am planning my first trip back this fall for the TCU-Ohio State game.  I will definitely be going back to Joe T's

Still great Everytime I go, but it's over an hour away from Dallas

Wife's sister lives in Arlington; so, yes both are possibilities.
