awesome to see the actual complaint.
I think the stuff about his wife is fine or misunderstood by him. She's doing a great thing and it does help his bad PR. That makes me wonder how realistic he is about the job he's done. I mean the only prob he could have there is insinuating he's doing a bad job, right?
That columnist didn't need to bring his wife into it and I wonder if a judge (jury?) isn't going to see that as a red flare as well. Ya just don't do it.
We "beat on" coaches and players all the time here and the last thing any of us ever does is go insulting their ma or wife or kids or somesuch. I only glossed over the article the first time and missed that.
Curious how jewish folks feel about the anti-semetic claim.
I hope the judge has a unibrow and laughs about that. That's always a good simple joke.
I'd like to know more about the bit where he claims WCP rarely wrote about the team. That's a bit odd.
cover story doesn't really matter-cover or inside is kinda trivial. Papers have bad days where they are pressing for news and even a "rag" has to sometimes bump up a lesser story.
That snyder sent a letter thru his attorney asking them to write a retraction and they didn't, that is kinda interesting like they were ready to deal with something like this.
Seems the complaint is flawed as it mentions competition for advertisers and thus $ but at the part where he is asking the court for $ he is only asking for personal damages by "hurt feelings" and stuff like that. Does that mean he can't show a loss by all this?
*******
As far as the great adventure stuff. They bought a run down old old old (did I say old) park in upstate NY known frontier town that was just plain horribly run into the ground by the previous owner. When that place was sold, that owner knew they were going to take a loss and said the great adventure investors were fine with that. I didn't understand, found that interesting as we chatted some. Frontiertown was miniscule compared to GA sites I've been to so it's probably just a drop in the bucket but it makes me curious to learn more about great adventure now.
