6/80 on 13 targets, and looked strong in the second half when Gradkowski took over. Probably on your FA wire. With Gradkowski likely taking over at starting QB...
you know what to do.

True, but Murphy isn't on your WW.DHB likely is on your WW...and something else. McFadden has ripped off back to back 150+ yard days. I think he's earned the lead dog role for awhile.Murphy is the Raider wr to own.
+1 If he does this 2 weeks in a row... maybe, if my wr corp had holes. 3 weeks in a row.... yes I'd consider him worthy of a roster spot - but possibly not more than wrs already on my roster. So you think this team is going to put up enough points to support a solid fantasy rb, and not just one but TWO wr's? I'd leave DHB on the ww in all but the largest of leagues/rosters.
No, but he got half as many catches as all last year in today's home opener.Has DHB surpassed his entire rookie year yet?
With a likely pass happy game coming up is now the time to roster this guy?DHB worth a roster spot in less than 20 player bench leagues now that Gradkowski is starting? It's hard to ignore 9 targets in the one half Gradkowski played. I have a feeling if you don't roster him now it'll cost you next week.
I believe so. Since Grad has taken over I believe he is third in targets.edit: Second, tied with Andre Johnson. With a likely pass happy game coming up is now the time to roster this guy?DHB worth a roster spot in less than 20 player bench leagues now that Gradkowski is starting? Yep, plus Murphy is dinged and Houston has worst passing D in the league through 3 weeks.Im starting DHB in week 4 as my WR3.I believe so. I'm a little surprised by that. I caught some of last week's game & he seemed to be getting seperation. IIRC he drew 2 PI calls during the time I was watching. His hands still seem suspect though; dropped a catchable ball in the endzone. I have him rostered and will give him a couple weeks to show and prove. I think his best football is ahead of him.Bey got killed on the NFL network Playbook show. Was only partly paying attention but Baldinger broke down some ugly film from him the last couple of weeks.
what the blood clotthe shocker:
roto:Raiders coach Tom Cable revealed Friday that Darrius Heyward-Bey strained his groin in practice, but expressed confidence that Heyward-Bey will play Sunday against the Texans.
Cable is also confident that Louis Murphy (bruised clavicle) will be ready to make the start. Heyward-Bey, however, was a late addition to the injury report, which is never a great sign. The Raiders and Texans don't square off until 4:05 Sunday, making using either receiver a tricky situation for fantasy owners. Those with healthier, viable options in early games should probably err on the side of caution if they can't back up DHB or Murphy with a late-game starter.
cant believe this. I picked up DHB to replace SJAX. Now I got two guys with groin injuries.the shocker:

I disagree with the sloppy routes. Working with Nnamdi if anything has improved his routes tremendously in the off season. He gets a great jump off the line, but sometimes has trouble finishing.DHB is growing as we speak his flaws are common to a 2nd year WR, he's got to finish routes and run to the ball instead of jump for it. He does that because he's having trouble gauging the flight of the ball once he's use to adjusting to the flight of the ball he'll be fine. Then they'll be able to throw it up and let him go get it. But all of that is timing and maturity. It take most WR about 3-4 years to polish his route running, right now he's just starting to see the ball correctly in competition.DHB runs some sloppy routes and doesn't sell his moves very well. maybe that will come in time.
Im still scratching my head on this one. The fact that they listeded DHB as questionable shows that you cant trust Cable. If DHB was likely to play, then they shoudl have listed him as probable. I think I might have to sit him.Hanz said:What are you guys doing with DHB? Do you trust Cable and believe he'll be just fine or are you looking for other options?I really wanted to start DHB as my WR3 but not so sure anymore with that 4:15 gametime
I watched him exclusively for a game to see what all the noise was about and the dude runs sloppy routes. Not all the time now, but it's there. I'm sure they have improved, but as you say he has flaws. Definitely not a finished product, but he's looking like he's making good progress.Raiderfan32904 said:I disagree with the sloppy routes. Same here.ugh. Had Andre Johnson out and choose to gamble on DHB. Terrible move.
Are his numbers based on poor QB play or what? I need a guy now that Smith has the dreaded high ankle sprain and DHB is on the wire..I wonder if he was slowed by the injury. Did he even play the whole game?
ouchstarted him over TO![]()
