This seemingly popped up out of nowhere. According to ESPN, he was limited in practice with some sort of shoulder injury. Any one else have any better insight on this?
He may very well do that, but the concern I had with him last year was that he completely disappeared in two or three games. Yes, it was great having him blow up on my bench and in my starting lineup against Denver for huge points, but those outliers greatly skewed his PPG average.Seeing as he's started off the season with his favorite punching bag, Denver, I'm hesitant to call DMC a surefire candidate for the #1 RB spot this year. Let's see how he does against the Bills: another 150 yard game and a TD or two this time around, and I'll start considering him as a guy who could truly be the best back in the league.I think this one is a non factor, but injures do scare me with him. I think he was #2 in points per game last year behind Foster. I think he could finish #1 if he plays all 16.

Woah now...I never said I was Arian Foster's biggest fan.ouch! Tough crowd.Trizzler & Rizzler...you related?
Srsly? He needs to average 150 yards per game and a TD or two to just be considered for the top RB spot?By your logic, this will be the first season where NO running back comes close to being worthy of the #1 spot by the end of the season. He may very well do that, but the concern I had with him last year was that he completely disappeared in two or three games. And I'll point you to Adrian Peterson, who does the exact same thing and rarely misses games. See how easy it is to cherry pick players to make my point?I took some heat for bringing this up in the game thread but I think he takes too much unnecessary contact. At the end of most runs he lowers his shoulder to hit his would he tackler. He is punishing the people tackling him but he is ultimately going to be the one to pay the price in the long run. For those that say that this is just part of the game and what do you expect a running back to do, I point you to Marion Barber. I am the biggest McFadden fan there is but this part of his game is going to cause him to be perpetually nicked up.
IF DMAC is out, I agree. Lot of Reece and Bush but if something happens and the Raiders KNOW they have lost DMAC for an extended period, the world is oging to be introduced to Taiwan Jones and the rest, as they say, will be history.Actually, I really can't imagine anthing except a season ending injury opening the door for Jones that much but it will be fantasy impactful still.Marcel Reece is totally going to take over if DMC misses any time.Going to become a complete RBBC situation. Sell, sell, sell!!!
running back Darren McFadden (shoulder), quarterback Jason Campbell (foot), defensive end Jarvis Moss (foot) and cornerback Joe Porter (concussion) are at practice and looking fine.
