So its looking like mr. Run dmc will miss the Monday night game....when will he be back!? I just traded for him cuz I'm a lock for the playoffs but damn, I anticipated him being back by now. And with michael bush being a baller and such, what is expected from mcfadden when he comes back??

Well it doesn't seem like they're rushing him back by any means. In this case, I expect him to be at or near 100% when he does return. Now that Carson Palmer has given them a credible passing attack, I think McFadden will continue to put up elite numbers in all formats once he returns.

I see this being the plan. I am concerned that conditioning could be an issue for at least his first start back. If I had to guess, maybe two more weeks until he is truly startable. Just a guess, mind you.

"Startable?" I guess it depends on how deep your starting rosters are, but I'll take 70% of McFadden over everyone but the elite top 7-10 RBs.

True. I took Michael Bush with a 9th round selection (after taking Limp-DMC in the 1st) and haven't missed a beat.

I'm thinking I can get him cheap so am deciding what to offer for him. Right now I'm toying with Vincent Jackson and James Starks for McFadden and hopefully Sproles. I haven't decided what to do yet.
I think he will be fantastic when he comes back. He is a good runner, the OL is outstanding at run blocking, and he has a passing game that will make space for him. I think the shark move is to approach the frustrated DMC owner and see how cheap you can get him.

You're on, regardless of any odds you're offering.No reason for the Raiders to rush back McFadden with Bush being so dominant, and the line blocking well. Taiwan Jones may not be lighting the world on fire, but he's a decent change of pace back for Bush given their styles are so different. Patience grasshopper. He'll be ready to go in a few weeks. Certainly by leagues playoff schedules where a lot start week 14. Oakland is fortunate to have 2 backs that can carry the load so they need to use them wisely. I still believe once DMC is fully healthy he'll get a decent enough workload. Until then keep plugging Bush in the lineup ,if you have him and I'm fortunate to have both.
