I've always been a fan of Tapp - but I watch a ton of Hokies football. This has to be good news for Tapp owners, doesn't it? Obviously he'd probably only still be owned in very deep leagues.
yes.. anything is better than where he was. He'll be a nice flyer this seasonThis has to be good news for Tapp owners, doesn't it? Obviously he'd probably only still be owned in very deep leagues.
No kidding. It seemed he always was playing his heart out, and all they ever wanted to do was replace him. Glad to see he gets a fresh start, especially in a 4-3 front.yes.. anything is better than where he was. He'll be a nice flyer this seasonThis has to be good news for Tapp owners, doesn't it? Ok. Can you provide a link or something? The Man With No Name said:Looks like Tapp will be starting and playing 1st and 2nd downs at left end then leaving the field on 3rd downs for the rookie Graham.
Ugh. I can't find it. I was just surfing around and came upon that comment from I believe an Eagles beat writer. It does make sense though. Tapp is good against the run and Graham is a pass rusher. Thats why they moved up in the 1st round to get him- to get to the quarterback. Of course training camp and preseason games will sort everything out.Ok. No worries - was mostly just interested in reading more. Appreciate the heads up. Seems like, if that happened, it would be a pretty big downgrade for Tapp, since (I think) most people would have viewed him as a potential pass rushing guy.Ugh. I can't find it. I don't think Tapp is the right build for OLB but maybe DE. R. Sapp on the other hand is slotted as the "elephant" (per Eagles.com)With the news that McDermott is thinking of using more 3-4 looks, is it possible that Tapp and Graham were acquired for their potential as 3-4 OLBs?
That's correct. Sapp would be a Joker/4th LB in that situation. The 3-4 would be interesting in that their LBs would be OK to try this (Sapp at SAM, bring in Gaither to go with Bradley and Sims for 4 LBs), but Bunkley and Patterson aren't exactly your classic "3" DL guys. They'd still need a third, which I am not sure they really have. Cole moving in a bit to play 2-gap would not be a good use of him. Abiamiri might be able to do it, but I also think he lacks size. Tapp might be a guy they try there in that formation.I don't think Tapp is the right build for OLB but maybe DE. R. Considering how he played in Philly, coma patientI should probably keep this under my hat but wondering what the IDP experts think of Chris Clemons value in Seattle.

Clemons is still a free agent in all my leagues. Is he a sleeper or a coma patient?
He should find out how his Uncle Charlie did what he did in 2001 and do it himself. Not available in my only league on MFL.I should probably keep this under my hat but wondering what the IDP experts think of Chris Clemons value in Seattle.
