He had an off year last year but he was pretty good the year before that. Philly threw the ball 48 times and only rush 9 times with McCoy. Every time Vick ran the ball, he got to the secondary. Most of the plays from Philly were either incompletes, no yardage, or big chunk of yards, which is probably why Goldson got a lot of tackles. Niner's defense will stay on the field a lot, so Goldson assuming he's starting, it's probably a decent play. On most days, he'll be behind Willis and Bowman on tackles though.

not sure how much I agree with Drew's post but Whitner was out as well
Oh yeah, completely forgot about Whitner.
What do you think then? Open to all opinions...

I doubt he'll put up numbers he did the past week. There are too many tackle vultures on that team...
