Thanks GB, I'll pass this on to her. And I agree. 3 of them have been nominated for WAMI's this year (Wisconsin Area Music Industry Awards) The drummer is producing her new album. So, so good. Just a super talented group all around.

Thank you!This times a hundred.
They do play out. The name of the band is Throwback Stereo a 90's cover band. They are all in orginals bands as well, they do this for fun.Damn man, this is great! When the distancing is done I'd drive to Brew City to come check them out. Do they have any plans to tour?
There are a coupe yes, I'll have to find themadonis said:Was gonna just listen to a bit to get the feel for it but listened to the whole thing, then down the rabbit hole of other videos I went.
Such a talented group.
Are there any songs where she harmonizes with anyone else? She's got a killer voice, as do others in the band. I'll keep looking, but if you know of one where they do some harmonies I'd love to listen.
Very cool! She has really grown as a singer and as an artist. And she is now surrounded by an incredible ensemble of musicians. Her future is bright! Thanks guys, she's read all of your compliments and say's you guys are really so kind and sweet!

Wow - again. Loved these. Her voice is rich and fits the songs very well.
Pretty cool. Do they gig here locally (when we're not quarantined)?
I was gonna suggest this, too. I lived in Appleton basically my whole life up until a few years ago. Awesome event.Has she/will she be at Mile of Music in Appleton, WI this year? Seems like a good event to get exposure

They are scheduled to play State Fair on August 7th, 11am-3pm at the Budweiser Pavillion.Pretty cool. Do they gig here locally (when we're not quarantined)?
You raised Merissa too well to do that right. Notes are all there, the arrangement is great, but we're missing the fast-twitch rage of the original.
Love that band. Headstrong might be my favorite Maniacs tune. Agree, I bet Pack Daughter could do a mean Merchant. You raised Merissa too well to do that right. Notes are all there, the arrangement is great, but we're missing the fast-twitch rage of the original.
If it's the 90s theyre mining, might i recommend 10,000 Maniacs? Good songwriting & arrangements, Natalie Merchant & your daughter are tonally similar, but those songs could use the removal of Merchant's tremolo & pomposity
Thanks wikkid. She agrees. I'll talk to her about those two.wikkidpissah said:You raised Merissa too well to do that right. Notes are all there, the arrangement is great, but we're missing the fast-twitch rage of the original.
