I think I love you.:(
I may or may not have been a big Partridge Family fan when I was a kid.
Okay, I was.
Especially Laurie.
He was on that and has dementia?he looked to be in rough shape when he was on celebrity apprentice.
my god you have a lot of disease and death stories. His kidneys are failing and if he doesn't get a liver transplant, he's dead. Years of heavy drinking is catching up with him, just like it did to my bff's bro a month ago when he died of liver and kidney failure at 59..
That's David Carradine.Thought that dude died having sex while suffocating himself.
I know. In real life too nowadays it seems too.my god you have a lot of disease and death stories.
That was an ironic way for the former grasshopper to go out. That's David Carradine.
He still had much to learn, too. That was an ironic way for the former grasshopper to go out.
Laurie may have been my first love. So dreamy.:(

He could’ve flown for miles with that collar.David Cassidy was my first teen idol crush. The Partridge Family's 1971 album "Up to Date" was also the first album I ever bought with my allowance. Thanks for the fond memories, Dreamy David. RIP
Actually it was the opposite for quite some time...his goal was to be a legit Rock Star which was never gonna happen after being a Teen Superstar...Strange and sad end. Cassidy really embraced what was a sort of kitschy early career, rather than run away from it. RIP.
You are confusing him with Paul McCartney.I thought he died in the 60's?
Nah, I heard that he was dead on the end of that song. I had to put it up really loud though. I'll try it again next time I'm On The Road. You are confusing him with Paul McCartney.
A lot of the same things that were said about Adam West upon his passing a few months back, apply to David Cassidy. They were both talented guys who got pigeonholed to the extent that it thwarted any advancement in their careers.Actually it was the opposite for quite some time...his goal was to be a legit Rock Star which was never gonna happen after being a Teen Superstar...
Also - it was after school tv fodder with the Brady Brunch, Lost in Space and Star Trek.A legit superstar/teen heart-throb back in the day...the Brady Bunch/Partridge family back-to-back on Friday nights was the Gehrig/Ruth of TV...if you were 8...great memories...

Can't forget Gilligan and the Castaways in that line-up...I was a big Judy from Lost in Space fan back in the day...Also - it was after school tv fodder with the Brady Brunch, Lost in Space and Star Trek.
True. Can't forget Gilligan and the Castaways in that line-up...I was a big Judy from Lost in Space fan back in the day...
read excerpts from the collected memoirs of Bonaduce, and he recounted how he absolutely was bonkers for Dey ... at one point she went on an all carrot diet - said she took on a most hideous shade of orange as a result, effectively putting the kibosh on all that :XLaurie may have been my first love. So dreamy.

I was 11 when the Partridge Family TV show aired. I was way too cool to admit to my friends that I watched the show but I did.:(

I'm a couple of years younger than you, but the TV show was right in my wheelhouse too. I reckon Laurie was a first-crush for a lot of people our age.I was 11 when the Partridge Family TV show aired. I was way too cool to admit to my friends that I watched the show but I did.
I couldn't stand the music and the little kids pretending to play instruments but the show was really good. Aside from the two youngest that didn't say much the chemistry between the actors was great. And to an 11 year old Laurie was smoking hot.
RIP David.
