David Nelson (1 Viewer)

At 6-5 217 lbs, what are Nelson's dynasty prospects over the next few years. He had a really nice 4 week run at the end if last season. Was it lightning in a bottle or a glimpse of the future in Buffalo?

Too many WRs contribute in the Bills offense to expect production from a marginal player, even if that player has room to grow like Nelson does. Parrish, Evans, Johnson, Easley, Jones, Roosevelt and Nelson will all see time in the offense. That's a lot of mouths to feed. If anyone is going to break free from the pack it'll probably be Easley. He has size (223) and speed, and has a really high ceiling.

Nelson is Fitz's crutchclutch on 3rd downs and will be the primary end zone targetoffense really suffered when he was hurt last year.

Nelson is an intriguing prospect to me. However, I like Marcus Easley to emerge in Buffalo opposite Steve Johnson. Stevie Styles recently said Easley 'is a beast.'

I watched Easley from the sidelines during the week of practice for the Texas v Nation Game last year in El Paso and was very impressed. He is a big receiver who knows how to use his frame to box out defenders, has the vertical to regularly high point passes, and soft hands to be a reliable receiver. He missed all of his rookie season with a knee injury, and could emerge in the Bills passing game this year.

Easley was more impressive than David Gettis and Kyle Williams at that game. Nice upside here from a player who is mostly overlooked, even in some dynasty leagues.

I like nelson especially in ppr leagues. Fitzpatrick loves him and as far as I'm concerned Marcus Easley is Nelson's only real competition. However Easley can't stay healthy.

In the last couple days both Steve Johnson and Lee Evans have called Easley a beast and talked him up.

I'd hesitate to call it lighting in a bottle. More like a glimmer of light. Either way I don't think much to see here. Parrish was rolling and seeing a ton of targets before he got hurt. Than Evans got hurt. They had no TE involvement in the passing game. I don't think it's a coincidence that Fitzpatricks numbers started trending down the second half of the season. He lacked weapons.

Besides ONE knee injury, when else has he gotten hurt? Easly was in the driver seat to be the #4 WR last year behind Evans, Johnson, and Parrish. With that said, The WR corp for Buffalo has gone from a liability to a very deep unheralded bunch.

Agreed. I'm going to be snatching Fitzpatrick up in all my leagues. The Bills are going to have a ton of different weapons with a lot of different skillsets. I don't really expect huge numbers from any of them because I think they'll all be used extensively in different ways.Hopefully they'll be flexible in their gameplans and adapt their passing game for each opponent and what that opponent is giving them.So overall I'm not overly excited about any particular Buffalo WR, but I'm high on Fitz because I see big things overall for the passing game.

That One injury kept him out for the year. And the guy started 10 games in college, I can't believe ppl are hyping up to be some kind of stud. Played 10 games in college the missed his rookie year because of an injury....yeah I got to rush to my leagues and get this guy, lol. You guys can go after hype, give me the player who had 3 TD's in the last 4 games.
