While his nervousness was on display in that practice when he dropped a swing pass, his legs were anything but jittery when he got to the edge and quickly turned upfield around linebacker Greg Jones’ outreached hands.“Yeah, I’ve had my dosage of that a little bit. Every now and then, if I’m feeling good, I try to catch him,” Jones, a sixth-round pick last year, said when asked about Wilson’s quickness. “He hits it hard and, if you’re not ready, he’ll be by you in no time. ... He’s really, really fast and once he gets the hang of things and finds his groove, I think he’s going to be really good.”Wilson isn’t sure when that will occur. He joked “next year,” but then said he’ll know he’s making progress when he feels like he’s not learning something new every day.“I’m just waiting for that moment when I walk off the field like, ‘I’ve got the hang of this,’ ” Wilson said.
