***David Wilson Bandwagon*** (3 Viewers)

At this point Wilson owners are hoping for just ONE good week so they can try and ship off in a trade to another idjiot.
No thanks. I still think I got a pretty good deal getting Wilson for Jacquizz and Snelling.

The fact that he got injured and it appears to be not a long term injury is a reason to want to trade him? 7.6 fantasy points in 1 quarter of football. Terrible, right?

What is incorrect with what I said? Is 7.6 fantasy points bad for 1 quarter of football? Or would you rather have Jacquizz and Snelling than Wilson?

Love the analysis in here so far on his YPC; as if people aren't watching whatsoever and haven't seen him getting hit in the back field over and over because this O Line is the worst line in history.
Brandon Jacobs has a better YPC today behind the same line. Just saying.

Brandon Jacobs seems to be doing OK behind that same OL ...Hmmmmm

Brandon freakin' Jacobs

... and fewer touchdowns. Just saying.
You clearly don't know what YPC means.
I was presenting another stat that is important in fantasy football - touchdowns - as a point of comparison.

wow, if he didn't get hurt, he'd score a TD every quarter for the rest of the year!

Cool maybe we can bring other important stats like height, hand size, career touchdowns or games missed due to neck injuries into a yards per carry comparison.

It's odd that you're missing the point he was trying to make about YPC.

... and you think 2.89 is statistically significantly that much more impressive than 2.66?

So in your fantasy football leagues hight and hand size are as important as touchdowns?

Awesome.

Didn't miss the point. Just painting more of the picture of their statistical days... which is how we score points in fantasy football.

congratulation!

Both have the exact same relevance as touchdowns scored to a yards per carry comparison yes.

You are hilarious as well as astute. Keep up the awesome work around here.

Just give up, Avery. We're on a fantasy football forum and unfortunately a lot of people on here only know fantasy and not real football. They look at the stat line but don't actually watch any games.

I wonder if he is getting a new offensive line this year - because if not, he is not rosterable in almost any format except maybe a 48-team, start 3 RB league.

Interesting, for all of these years I have thought Robert Smith had a higher yards per carry than Leroy Hoard, but I would love to have your thoughts on the YPC comparison.

Wilson has played "real football" for 20+ games, and hasn't shown much.

After a whole week of having Wilsn's garbage yards agaianst KC being touted as some kind of sign based on his ypc, you throw that gem at us

Which is? Jacobs at 10/31 @ 1.1 pts in my league.

Not to mention, this:

"wow, if he didn't get hurt, he'd score a TD every quarter for the rest of the year!"

is not this:

"Just painting more of the picture of their statistical days"

:lmao: now he's the next coming of Leroy Hoard

Although it's a move in the right direction, as opposed to the ADP and Jamaal Charles comparisons...

I honestly have no idea what your point is.

With 10 minutes left in the third quarter Wilson, even though Jacobs played in two and a third more quarters than he did at this point, outscored Jacobs in fantasy football today. That is the larger picture of their statistical days.

Should have been directed at Rove!

I love how the guy gets injured and goes out for the game after having a decent first quarter. And now... we're back to "Lololol look at his crappy 2.66ypc!"

Look at I don't know... 95% of the RBs each week on their first 5 carries. Most are going to come in at about 2.66ypc.

Except I proved this a false hood 10 pages ago. 12 of Wilson's 13 carries in the KC game came while the game was 10-9 or less. So... yeah, you're about as illogical as the actual Karl Rove.

At this point I'm waiting for Phenix or OG_GF to come in here and tell us how great Brandon Jacobs is...

Seriously this showed us nothing, we know as much about Wilson today as we did before.
We know that their o-line wasn't even able to generate room for either RB against what might be the worst defense in the NFL. Until that gets fixed NY RBs are fantasy garbage. But I'm sure that the Wilson lovers will continue to find ways to justify trotting the guy out there every week.
