This year in one of the leagues that I commish in, we have had a few problems with owners just not paying attention. At first it was 2 owners so I sent an email to the league reminding owners that starting players on bye is not acceptable as it throws of the dynamics of the league. One owner keeps doing it though and I am not sure what the best action is. This league is just a friendly league where most of us play in other leagues together that are definetly more serious and we wanted to play around with a different format. The entry fee is only $10 so we are not talking any big money here.
Would it be fair for me as a commish to ensure that he has a valid roster by setting his roster for him? I wouldn't necessarily do waiver picks ups for him, but just do my best to give him a valid roster with what he has.
Or would a better option be to get him a co-owner that helps him manage his team.
What have others done in the past? I am looking for a solution to just get me through this season as he is gone next year.
BTW, his team is 1-6... about to be 1-7 because he has half his team on bye and they are all starting.....
Thanks
