Is John Fox daring the owners to fire him?
I was wondering that. He's dead meat as his contract is up and they won't rehire him. He probably wants to lounge around and still collect a paycheck. He's a POS.
You're internet persona is very mean spirited.
Thanks. I call them as I see them. Everyone knows who he good guys are. i point out the garbage that needs to be hauled off to the landfill.

You called Fox a POS because...well that's where I am confused. Your statement is speculation about something that won't happen but for some reason that makes Fox a POS.It does not follow. ETA: And it's not being very excellent either.

After watching how Carolina has used both Williams and Stewart, your argument about Fox is quite believable. Not saying its true, but I am starting to wonder about that. Best case for Williams is he gets traded, but that is not likely.

As bad as things are, Stewart almost scored in Week 2 (probably should have) and did score yesterday. Granted, you'd have to be in dire straits to consider him as a RB3 but he is getting some goal line looks at least.

As a DeAngelo owner I'm obviously concerned with how things have gone thus far and the Panthers offense appears pretty hopeless at this point. However, the team was pretty miserable at this point last year and as pointed out, Williams has notoriously been a slow starter. If the coaches value their jobs at all, they'll make an attempt to get the ball to Williams and Stewart more often and with Otah returning and Clausen hopefully maturing throughout the course of the year, it is reasonable to think that this is about as bad as it is going to get for these two this season. Perhaps I am grasping at straws, but it is something.

New Orleans got torched by Atlanta on the ground yesterday and you would hope to see a heavy dose of the Carolina run game this Sunday. Hopefully Clausen can make enough plays to move the sticks.

This team looks like the Rams, except with RBBC.

Going in, I knew my Bengals would give them nothing but 8-man fronts to stuff the run and with a rookie QB they are going to try and limit his exposure (though he was able to open it up a little bit in the 2nd-half).

They are going to have a very hard time from here on out and will probably be spot plays unfortunately. Stewart may have a bit of value as a flex in TD-only leagues. For D-Will it's looking really bad.

They gave up 4 YPC and 1 TD in nearly 5 quarters of play against one of the best running teams in the league. I know that's not great, but not exactly "torched" either. That being said, Carolina will probably try to control the clock much the same way Atlanta did, and try to protect the Rookie.

Feels like a lost season for all players on the roster... Unfortunately, some of us don't have the luxury of another option at RB1-RB2...

D-Will was drafted as my RB1 in one league... And had Stewart as RB2 in a league where PT is my RB2...

Very disappointing...

As a Williams owner I am looking to send him off. I just don't want to deal with the headache anymore. Already got some trades going.

I have the luxury of MJD, Williams, and Brown as my RBs....Throw in Greg Jennings and I'll be lucky to win a game the rest of the way....

Not surprising to me. Williams fell apart last year. Two years ago was a fluke, IMO.
You have a very odd definitiong of "fell apart". Through week 12 (when he got hurt), which is 3/4ths of the season, DeAngelo was RB5. He finished RB1 the year before. That's a fluke? As for this year, there's nothing else to be said other than the coaching staff has completely blown this. I have no explanation.

I am in two dynasty leagues and two redraft league. I already owned Williams in one of the dynasty leagues and one of the redraft leagues. I am holding. I don't see any viable alternative.

In the other dynasty league, I already owned Stewart, and I just traded for Williams today. For anyone interested, I traded Hillis and Harrison for him.

In the other redraft league, I made an offer today (offered Ryan and Donald Brown for Favre and Williams... other owner has Addai and his only other QB is Alex Smith).

Not looking for trade/offer feedback, just providing for context.

This is why I hate playing in a league with a lot of Panthers homers. I actually think that it's a great time to buy low on DeAngelo, but his owner also knows DeAngelo's pattern and is waiting for him to turn it around.

The same thing happened to me last year when I tried to steal him when he started slow.

Why has he started slow in the past? The way he was being used (knucklehead Fox) or does he just take a few weeks to get going?

Holy crap this is a dynasty steal. Looks like I better send out a few offers if he was able to be had this low.

Just bought low in my 16-team non-PPR sending out Devin Hester and Wes Welker to get DeAngelo.

People often talk about buying a player low when all the peripheral information suggests that he'll bounce back, but I've often found that owners worth at least half their weight in salt already know this and have zero interest in selling low . You're much more likely to get a player at his lowest value if you're taking a risk when things really seem desperate. In this case, I think DeAngelo looks fine when I watch the Panthers play and it's only a matter of time until Fox and Co. recognize their mistake. If I'm wrong, then so be it.

redraft 12 team PPR, start 2 QB before week 3:

Gave: Megatron and Gradkowski

Got: Dwilly, Stew, Steve Smith (NYG)

ETA: My starting RBs were Grant and R Bush

I was a little aggressive with that terminology. I would expect Carolina to follow that blueprint, but of course, you just don't know with the Panthers at this point.People are avoiding him like the plague in leagues where I own him. Hopefully he has a big game in him to restore a little value.

Dynasty owners need to hold Williams and Stewart to see where Williams goes (he's gone) and to see if the new regime actually uses Stewart. Redraft...it's over.

Should it really take 4 weeks for the coaching staff to recognize a guy who has been their best back for years?

No it shouldn't but with the moron Fox calling the shots it's all we can hope for since we can only manage our FF team and not D Will's touches.

I remember last year when people actually tried to defend Fox. They seem to have all disappeared. They guy is horrible as a HC. He doesn't even recognize that his OC is a pass happy fool trying to make a name for himself before he too is ####canned.

I tried all off season to trade DeAngelo in my dynasty league but couldn't get a singe decent offer. I still have him and have to say I'm slightly concerned, but only because I may have to start him this week with ADP on bye. My other bye week choice is Forsett, who I am seriously considering. I won't even try to trade him now unless I try to package him with Fitzgerald for a top 3 WR- I know the value would not be there in any case, though. But my league doesn't do a lot of trading so that probably won't happen either.
