In last years footballguys.com fantasy mag, there was a great section on defensive formations and the strengths and weakness of the different positions in each. It was great in developing a strategy and my defense was really good last year. I just got this year's mag and it's IDP section wasn't so hot as far as details go. Anywhere else I can look?

I am looking for who gets the most tackles for DL, LB, and DB's...example: MLB in the 4-3 gets loads if he is good, CB in cover 2 if he is aggressive, etc.

John Norton's Breaking Down Defenses article was last published in 2005. We're still working on transitioning our old content to the new website format, but the link above should work for subscribers.

We also discussed many of these concepts in the IDP 301 and 401A Audible episodes that can be downloaded from the podcasts tab. They are also linked in my sig.

And there are some good threads addressing the issue in the pinned FAQ.

Feel free to post additional questions, though, as I'm sure there are nuances we haven't fleshed out recently.
