Defensive / Special Teams scoring (1 Viewer)

Last year one of my leagues went to the following format for defensive scoring:

Opponent Punts =============== 1 point each

Fumble Recoveries (from Opponent) === 2 points each

Interceptions Caught ============ 2 points each

Sacked a QB ==================1 point each

Number of Defensive TDs ========== 6 points each

Opponent Fourth Downs Failed ======= 2 points each

I really like the scoring that we now do and am wondering what other leagues use it. This is a dynasty league and for reference sake, the Green Bay Packers defense is #1 (#43 overall).

Green Bay - 148 (43)

Detroit - 143 (46)

Oakland - 136 (64)

12th Pittsburgh - 117 (93)

I like that idea, but not sure about rewarding teams for their opponent punting. Seems like the points would REALLY pile up in a hurry. What is the average score for a defense, and what is the high score on the year for a defense?
