Democrats' House Agenda (3 Viewers)

This is big and underrated.

There has never -- never! -- been a House Democratic majority without a powerful bloc of southern conservatives. And now there is.

Ronald Brownstein in The Atlantic made kind of the same point today.

If the two parties are solidifying more and more around their respective bases, you've gotta like the Dems' long term prospects better than the pubbies'. They pretty much dominate in the cities, which are just getting bigger, among the college educated, which are growing in number, young people, minorities, women. Their base is growing. Donald's is shrinking.

The GOP after Trump is going to be an interesting organization. Will they look for another narcissist who "fights back?" ( :lmao: ) Or will they return to more mainstream candidates?

For the record, I am not a fan of this Sherman character pushing an impeachment resolution on day 1.

Impeachment is a serious matter, and should be handled appropriately, and crafted in committee when appropriate.  Judiciary Committee or Oversight Committee should gather the relevant evidence and make the determination based on the severity of provable charges.  No grandstanding.

Agreed...houses first thing should be passing the version of the CR the Semate had passed and send it in to them.  Make McConnel balk and continue to show publicly the only ones keeping this #### down are Trump and the GOP.

:goodposting:

Their agenda was to pass Republican fiscal policy that even the Republicans wouldn't pass.  Congratulations Paygo because we all saw all those campaign ads talking about it and not healthcare, right.  Bunch of frigging DINO's, nothing more.
