First one was great. Second one was terrible. Was it completely different writers or what was the deal?

Was excited to watch 2, but was bored the entire time.

Same, thats too bad. Heist movie + Gerard Butler is a difficult formula to mess up.

Problem was they killed off the white bad guy (Pablo Schneider) on 1 and in 2 they made Ice Cube’s son the main bad guy. He just doesn’t have the chops or charisma to pull off that lead character. And both he and Butler both seemed like pudgy overweight guys. Just something was off with their chemistry.

And I remember thinking about 1.5hrs in…has anybody even shot and killed anybody yet? Then Butler shoots a guy and reveals he has a bulletproof vest on, so he’s fine. Like they said we killed so many people on 1 let’s make sure nobody gets hurt in this one. Was weird.

Also, no 50 Cent.
