DEN WRs - Royal/Gaffney/Lloyd (1 Viewer)

Is there any way to know which guy is the guy to own here? Is there a guy or is this a total crap shoot week to week? Worth using a high waiver on one guy if you already own one of the other 2? Gaffney and Lloyd both have games of 11 and 12 catches, but also games of 2 and 3. Royal has two games of 8 catches and 2 TDs.

Targets are almost dead even, with Lloyd the leader and getting by far the most looks week 4, Royal has the higest catch%-

Lloyd - 25 for 454 on 40 targets

Gaffney - 22 for 240 on 34 targets

Royal - 25 for 299 on 32 targets

I rolled with Royal yesterday so that worked out well, but last week he was virtually non-existent. So you just never know really with this group.

The important thing is that you have *A* Denver WR.

From Rotoworld: Orton has the SECOND MOST passing yards after 4 games in a season in NFL history.... after Kurt Warner.

I'd say at this point Lloyd and Royal, and then Gaffney's worth owning for sure too, but on a spot start basis, while Thomas is worth owning for the becnh to see how de develops.

Lloyd has the most targets, catches, and yards. He is now being used all over the field (on screens, across the middle, sideline go routes, etc.). He is being targeted in the red zone. Yesterday, he had 18 targets, more than twice that of any other Broncos receiver. He has three 100 yard days so far (Royal only has one). Lloyd is also listed as the #1 WR on the Broncos' depth chart on their official website.

Lloyd is the #1.

Went with Blair White yesterday over Brandon Lloyd hoping for some upside

Needless to say, I will be rolling with Lloyd every week until I see a reason not to.

Who receives WR1 treatment from the other team? Next week they play the Ravens, pretty good pass defense. But it doesn't matter because Denver can't run it.

Do the Ravens have any shutdown corners I should fear for Lloyd or Gaffney?

It definitely appears that Brandon Lloyd is the number one Denver receiver, with Eddie Royal a close number 2. I think Demaryius Thomas still has a way to go before he learns the offense.

Because of league configurations, all three are available in my main league. I am done with Mike Sims-Walker. But the Broncos have a very difficult upcoming schedule with tough pass defenses. I think I will look elsewhere. I don't think this productivity will last.

Convince me otherwise.
