Denver at New England (2 Viewers)

Manning not looking good throwing with the glove (not that Brady is much better). I watched Kelly beat Marino 44-34 in Buffalo in the snow - neither wearing gloves. I know the gloves are like stickum now (and still don't understand how anyone drops a pass with them) but there's no precipitation so what's the deal?
 They like them.
So why wear the gloves but not the long shirt? I get everyone is trying to 'be tough' but aren't frigid arms that lead to cold hands detrimental to the team? And a guy with sleeves catches the TD!

Easy decision to give up that touchdown. It was already a three score game, but the patriots get to work over that defense some more in the first half. Sick comeback getting set up here. Epic.

The new rule this year prohibits both runners and defenders from leading with the helmet

With the top of the helmet.
Which is what happened
Weird how it happens all the time and doesn't get flagged.
Inside the tackle box or behind 3 yards beyond the line of scrimmage it isn't a penalty. That didn't apply here. I think it should have been called.
I wasn't talking about being in the tackle box, I'm talking about the dozen or more times every game that it happens and isn't flagged.
Read it again
Sounds like the refs need to since it doesn't get flagged a couple hundred times every Sunday.

OMG a grounding call on someone not named Brady -- never thought Id see the day.
Yeah, all the calls go against Brady. Poor guy can't catch a break.
The frequency at which he gets flagged for grounding, compared to the rest of the league does raise questions.
What is his average per passing attempt vs. the rest of the league?
Also, what's his rate of actually committing the foul vs not committing it?

It would probably be a lot less if his line could pass block

Patriots following the Ravens model. Get killed in regular season and come to Denver in playoff to win on miracle play.
