I normally do not post in game threads when my team (Broncos) is playing, but Denver's defense is playing terrible. Their pass rush is almost non-existent and the secondary isn't covering anyone. The Broncos offense has looked pretty good so far, but they cannot score if they aren't on the field.

Enough with the whining.
I seriously think that sometimes, losing teams' fans on here don't know how to deal with losing.Seriously, it happens. The refs aren't against you, the NFL didn't send them a memo to put the Steelers in the Super Bowl, it's just a fact of life that 50% of NFL teams lose.

I love my Broncos. But I realize, that they're sometimes going to lose.

But here's the thing...

The game isn't over yet. It's only 2 scores.

Am I the only one tired of see Jerome's parents after every play he participates in? How come they didn't show them last week after he coughed up the ball and almost lost them the game.

this is over if Denver doesn't score quickly.
No, it's not.The game isn't "over" until it's impossible for a team to come back and win.

That doesn't happen in any game until at least the 4th quarter, unless the score is out of control.

2 scores is not out of control.

Denver's D isn't really even playing that badly, but giving up 5 out of 6 3rd down plays has made it really tough. A lot of 3rd-and-long conversions, too.
I disagree. These long drives are awful. First and goal now. Haven't forced a single punt. Denver's D is killing them. They can't get the ball back for their offense until points are on the board, and Pittsburgh is about to go up two scores. While practically running out the entire second quarter on this 14-15 play drive.
I don't really think we disagree. Denver has stopped the run and has forced the Steelers into several 3rd-and-long plays. I think if we talked before the game about the Steelers averaging less than 2 ypc in the 1st half and Roethlisberger throwing nearly 20 times, we'd be really optimistic, right? They've been just horrible on 3rd down. Awful. The worst I can ever remember them looking, except for maybe the Monday nighter vs. Gannon and Oakland in 2002.

But I think they can turn this around. That's all. :)

we gotta make this stop and go into the half 17-3 and then we get the ball back after halftime to try and make it extremly difficult to have them come back:towelwave:

Not a Bronco's or Steelers fan....just commenting on what I thought was a bad call....geesh. it doesn't matter, though...The Broncos are getting their asses handed to them at home.

Denver needs a score before half. Only one timeout as well.Pitt gets the ball to start the second half.......... and an INT as I type. Oh my.

No, it's not. It's a huge deficit, and Denver's chances are very low. But the game is not over, and anyone who says it's "definitely over" has either just been watching football for 3 months, or has Alzheimer's.

You know I really thought Denver would win this game but I forgot what I knew about Jake Plummer. Maybe my memory failed me before I layed $ on Denver.

Steelers get the ball 1st in the 2nd half with a likely 17+ point lead. Denver's had only 4 possessions in this game, might not get another until there's 24 or so minutes left. :(

It's definately over.

Pitt looks to be running on all cylinders right now, while Denver seems to be down a cylinder or two..........Still a long ways to go,but looking grim............

If Denver comes back, will you stop posting for 2 years?I'd appreciate that. Since it's "definitely over", you should have no problem with that.
