Not saying that he deserves Larry Fitzgerald money but he should surely make more than 600K this year. Do you guys think he is in the Eagles long-term plans? He's had consecutive 1000 yard seasons and is a dynamite special teams player, which I think makes him more valuable. I'm shocked that they haven't given him a fair extension based on his versatility alone.

I don't feel like they are resigning him. I see them going with Maclin as their WR1; he caught 50% more passes than DeSean last year. Add in Steve Smith who will slide into the WR2 spot, still have Avant and Cooper in the cuts, no reason to overspend on a guy that is probably 1 concussion away from having to rethink his NFL career.

His agent(drew Rosenhouse) says he wants somewhere between Santonio Holmes and Larry Fitzgerald money. Eagles management hates Rosenhouse and Djax is not worth more then Holmes. Unless they come down, Eagles will go with Maclin, Smith, Avant and Cooper. Plenty of firepower. Teams can't afford two 8 million dollar a year receivers. Something has to give.
