Good News.

D-Jax passes concussion tests: Eagles head coach Andy Reid told WIP-AM in Philadelphia on Monday that WR DeSean Jackson has passed his concussion tests and has "a pretty good chance of being ready for the Colts game" in Week 9. Jackson was KO'd on a hit by Falcons CB Dunta Robinson in Week 6, forcing him out for Week 7, and the Eagles have a bye in Week 8.

Suprised this didn't generate more Buzz. Top 10 WR candidate is going to be out for less time than previously thought. Oh well.

Hey, I'm thrilled. Just didn't want to do the whole "here's my teams and here's why it helps that he's back" thing. In some ways, I'm glad they have a bye this week to give him the extra week. Like most DJax owners, I'd simply like to make sure he's healthy weeks 14-16. (Hopefully just 15 & 16.)

This was only their trainer's test he passed- he still has to be evaluated by an independent neurologist before he can even be cleared to practice nevermind play. He's hasn't even tried to run yet. It's a good sign, but he's not automatically good to go just yet.

True but with 2 weeks to work on that, its a VERY positive sign. Especially considering we were fretting possibly 4 weeks or more.

As Yogi Berra said, "It's deja vu all over again".

DeSean Jackson missed one game last year due to concussion, but still wound up as the #1 FF WR in my league that rewards extra points for long distance TDs.

He'll really have to get it poppin' to catch Roddy White and Hakeem Nicks though.

He should save himself the embarasement of being on the field in that slaughter that is going to happen when the Eagles get decimated by the Colt.s
