Desperate Owners dropping decent players on waivers (1 Viewer)

in my 10 team league, these players have been dropped in the last week:

Moreno, Knox, CJ Spilller, BJGE, Sidney Rice, Crabtree.

I think out of all of those Moreno is the biggest mistake.

 
12 team PPR - I scooped Garcon off waivers last week. I'll take a shot in him considering who is throwing him the ball.

 
12 team PPR last week someone dumped Reggie Bush. I scooped him up. We have room for 18 on a team and dont see many RB's with this high of value being around once Bush returns.

10 team normal league, I saw someone drop Driver last week. My claim didn't go through because someone with higher priority got him

 
10 team .5PPR league, somebody dropped Shonne Greene last week. I landed him with the #4 waiver spot.

What is everyone's take on Sidney Rice? I heard he is hoping to get off crutches next week..but that he still has some ways to go obviously. He is not on my waiver-wire but he probably is on some other leagues. Vikes got Skins, Bills, Giants, Bears for weeks 12-15.. Do you think he is worth a shot at trading a wr4 or wr5 to stash him away and hope he takes off in ff playoffs?

A guy dropped Maclin last Tuesday. He wasn't even having a bad year. I hope to snag him with #4 waiver spot, but I doubt he'll fall to me.

 
McFadden owner here. Before the games started Sunday the Michael Bush owner dropped him. Knocked down my own children getting to the computer to scoop him up. McFadden tweaks hammy during game. Bush just removed his thumb protector and will have fresh legs coming in.

 
12-team, fairly shallow rosters, start 2 WR:

Hines Ward just dropped in favor of Eddie Royal

Is Ward done, or just a by-product of no Big Ben?

 
i just picked up marion barber after week 2 in my 10 teamer. desperately needed some rb depth too.

very relieving to get a guy i know will give me some pts.

 
At this point I am finding it hard to keep S. Smith (car) any longer with small benches, injuries and bye week issues .......... :goodposting:

 
Stafford & Reggie Bush were dropped in my 14 team redraft. I am carrying 2 defenses this week since Pitt is on bye, but I may drop Brandon Jackson to stash Bush. I also want to drop Gradkowski for Stafford, but I will need a healthy Qb for Flacco's bye in week 8...

In my 12 teamer:

Flacco was dropped two weeks ago for Freeman and I managed to snag him for only $6. That owner is now rolling with the vaunted Freeman/Gratkowski QBBC and I'm trying to unload one from my Orton/Big Ben/Flacco triumvirate.

 
I'm seriously considering dropping Steve Smith CAR. Have Austin, Floyd, Bess, and Holmes in a PPR league.

Eyeing Brandon Tate (we get return yardage too). Smith has a crappy QB situation, and is dinged up to boot.

Am I crazy for thinking about this?

 
IMO Steve Smith will always have some trade value, which means you don't drop him. Even if you get less value than you drafted him for, it's worth more than what's on waivers.

 
I'm dropping Steve Smith (NYG) for Eddie Royal (no idea why he was dropped) and will probably drop Cadillac for Michael Bush.

Clausen or Brady (minus Moss)...i'd drop SS
 
Jason Witten.

12 Team 0.5 ppr league

I already have Gates and Clark but I can definetely snag up Witten to hurt a rival with my #3 WW pick.

Thinking about dropping Steve Smith (CAR). Ankle injury. Rookie QB. No one developing at WR #2 to take pressure off...
 
In an 8 team league that starts 2 WR and 2flex positions, these 3 WRs are available:

Brandon Lloyd

Dez Bryant

Mike Williams TB

As well as Ryan Torain.

I am going to try for Torain first then get the best of the WR left. Dropping Ken Darby and Jabar Gaffney to get two out of those four.

Hell, I might even try to trade Santana Moss or Hakeem Nicks and pick up another one of those!

I'm also wanting to drop Steve Smith like a bad habit, but he's on my freaking Can't Cut List for some asinine reason! GRRRRRR!
 
dropped last week in my various leagues:

QB-Palmer,

RB-M Bush, Tolbert(Dodds did this one I believe), Wells, Caddy (I did this drop)

WR-not that much value/mostly scrubs - M Thomas, Mason, N Washington

TE - Witten (highest FBG value drop I see), Cooley

DT - Min (not sure if they are still considered a top D the way their O is playing)
