Detroit Cover-2 CB's (1 Viewer)

I was thinking Bly might become the Ronde Barber of Detroit in their new Cover 2 scheme.

He did get his share, but the other CB who I'm not familiar with got more.

Can anyone watching the game and/or Detroit homers elaborate on who might get more tackles going forward.

Bly is the better corner with the more secure job. Bryants job is relatively secure from what I have seen but he gets picked on more I think ...Bryant was injured last year and is trying to re-establish himself ...

Nearly every tackle Bryant made came on a receiver, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but it doesn't fit the profile of a stud T2 CB. He's worth watching one more week before moving on. If he has another week where he has a couple of passes defended (unusual as he's never been a great on-ball CB) and/or makes some plays in run support, he's got a chance at being the guy.

Bly will fill hard in run support so I'd lean in his direction and he's got great ball skills. But he might blow himself up next week too.

Right now, I'm trusting James Hall, Shaun Rogers and Ernie Sims and I'll give the benefit of history to Bly. I'm giving it another week before I commit to Terrance Holt, Alex Lewis, or Bryant.
