Detroit Defensive Scheme (1 Viewer)

I understand that Detroit is playing cover 2 this year and usually this makes it difficult for the FS to score well in fantasy.

Just wondering if this is the case in Detroit this year and if Bullocks will be hard pressed to be a good fantasy idp'er.

reg is correct.

Holt is the starter.

And yes, whoever the starter is will be unlikely to put up top 36 DB numbers.

Yep, Bullocks is still behind Holt, but probably not for long. The T2 FS position is probably not going to be a big boxscore position in IDP terms. But we've really not seen a top notch player in that position yet. Chicago has had a couple of players be reasonably productive over the past couple of seasons. We'll have more data points about these guys this year -- Bullocks, Manning (when he plays), and Whitner (although he's a SS) are all solid two-way players that could change our thinking on how valuable the position might be.

For now, though, you have to temper your expectations on a player who was unable to beat out a replacement level guy like Terrence Holt.
