Me either but it was necessary and i think that was the point. They had to turn the audience against him. I liken the end to a drug addict: he relapsed and passed the point of no return. Basically he oded. He had the kid watch while he did his work to Kurt. He couldn’t see Harrison was traumatized by it. He was absolutely spiraling like a dug addict relapsing after years being clean. He was losing control. i think Harrison made the audience realize he’s not the hero we love anymore. And he now fit the code. There wasn’t going to be a clean way out unless it ended how it ended especially once Harrison called him out on everything. I get the hate but i thought it was a good ending. Brought closure. And of course left it open for a new show with Harrison. Maybe dexter plays the Deb role? We see dexters prequel in him?
i also suspect things were cut short likely due to covid so they couldn’t draw it out as i would have liked.
I would have enjoyed seeing Bautista and him meet again for example. Or how the town reacts to everything that happened. I enjoyed the season. Happy they brought it back.
