Dez Bryant Possibly Out for the Season (2 Viewers)

I quickly added Josh Gordon, but I can't bring myself to cut Dez yet. Denial is a river in Eygpt.

Dex plays the X WR for Dallas, which could be important. I think they will continue to use Miles as the flanker. I would imagine they'd be more likely to use Harris on the outside, than Ogletree, hoping that Harris' speed can open things up. Just my guess.

Cowboys coach Jason Garrett told DallasCowboys.com Monday that Dez Bryant (finger) is "50:50" to play again this season.

Despite previous reports, Cowboys.com writer Nick Eatman says his "gut" is Bryant will not be placed on injured reserve, but the team won't know for sure until results come back from Dez's visit to a hand specialist. Eatman does concede that Dez "could be out of the rest of the season," if the hand specialist determines Bryant needs year-ending surgery to repair the torn finger ligaments. Garrett will speak to reporters later today.

No surprise. The biggest suckpipe in our league is facing off against Romo this weekend after facing the 2nd lowest scoring team in the 1st RD of the playoffs (who happened to have RG 3 of course). He is the 3rd lowest scoring team this week. Man, that guy really works the FFL suckpipe.

Bryant (finger) will miss the rest of the season, CBSDFW.com's Richie Whitt reports. Analysis: Bryant suffered ligament tears in one of his fingers, and so ends one of the NFL's best breakout seasons at wide receiver. There's no reason to think the injury should be relevant by the time training camp arrives in 2013, at least. In the meantime, Jason Witten and Miles Austin figure to get most of Bryant's previous targets, while the scraps should get split between the likes of Dwayne Harris, Kevin Ogletree and Cole Beasley. Bryant's injury could significantly hurt the value of Tony Romo going forward.
Really sucks.

The 1 person I could not afford to lose have him in 18 leagues.
You play in 18 leagues? Holy #### man...I mean this in the nicest possible way: Go outside and enjoy the weather...socialize...do something off-line. Dang man.

So in my bye week i lose RG3 (most likely) and my best WR (most likely)

This is a cruel game.

11-2 record and now highly likely to lose in the semis.

oh well, sometime in the future I'll have a 7-6 record and get hot for 3 weeks in the playoffs... if you play long enough i guess the #### evens out

I have him in 18 of my 50 leagues.
Is this real? How do you do it?Being in 5 leagues feels like a bit of a chore at times, when it comes to remembering rosters, making breaking news pickups, etcetera.

that's just not smart.you have to diversify for this very reason.Even if you said you had him on 14 of your 18 teams that would be too heavy of an allotment of Dez.The only free lunch in this game is diversification.

Cool, you must start every viable FF player and face every week viable FF player every week. Talk about :( :)

I'm not sure if you're making this up to sound impressive to your FF peers, but I think most of these diehards would even admit....that's pathetic.

Of course it is real. It is a chore. I keep a spreadsheet for all my starting line ups, my opp line ups and all my rosters every week to make sure I keep it all straight especially when late changes need to be mad.Waivers are the toughest part glad there all but over for most of the leagues.I had what I thought was about as good as chance as one could have to win the NFFC $100,000 1st place prize but losing Dez is going to be a huge blow to my team. After tonight I expect to be sitting around 10th-15th place out of 368 teams I have Brady and Gostowski tonight and I have 165 already. To lose Dez is a monster blow to those hopes. There are people out there with more teams than me.

Pretty much the one guy I couldn't afford to lose (after already losing Gronk) in a mid money, playoffs only league. But then I saw this thread, and saw a guy lost him in 18 out of 50 leagues, and I didn't feel as bad. Thanks FBG!

In what world is 78% ownership of Dez more diversified than 36%?

Its only 36% of his leagues.....
oh.my bad50 leagues?well, that's maximizing the $30 a year you spend on this website.Geebus.I wouldn't want to log into check 50 teams, let alone draft 50 times.
