Did Portis get hurt? (1 Viewer)

It's not uncommon for a RB who busts off a long run to head to the bench to catch their breath. That is exactly what happened on after Portis busted a 50+ yarder down to the 2. Seller and Betts came in and flipped a coin to see who would get the TD vulture.

On a side note is anyone concerned about his production going forward? The receiving yardage tonight looks great, but 2 yards per carry isn't promising. Even before the starting QB went down tonight his YPC for the last few was pretty dismal and he has more fumbles than TD's. His 3 remaining games are the NYG, Minnesota, and Dallas. At this point I think after the Giants game I'm going to jump ship and start Fred Taylor. I never thought I'd type those words.

He was 2 yards from a monster game...

I am definitely concerned about him going forward, there are simply no holes...

I also think he is going to represent great value next year with a healthy o-line.

I've been thinking this for the past couple years as this is the 3rd year in a row I've had him in a redraft.

It was more than that, he missed the whole next series. Thats when I posted this thread.I've been concerned all season about him. I've watched alot of Skins games and that line is not opening any holes. They should be using more screen passes to Portis to let him use his speed. As is, he runs into a big wall of players and gets 2 or 3 yards a pop.

Portis was on the NFL Network after the game and himself said that he was not feeling the best during the game and then vomited. He further stated that he had not eaten all day and then when he arrived at the stadium, he had a couple of shrimps in the parking lot. Bad shrimps...

Portis is going to be a really tough call for week 15 lineups. He looks good when there's any semblance of a hole for him, but that's just far too seldom.

How does the Campbell injury impact him against the Giants next week?

I played him last night and can't complain about 11 points. What i didn't like was the Redskins seemed to running to many plays with only portis in the backfield. Give him a lead blocker and let him have a chance. If i win this week i will play him untill the end.
